About the race
ISTRIA 100 by UTMB started in 2013 and today it gathers more than 2000 runners from all over the world. In 5 distances, 100 miles, 110k, 69k, 42k and 21k, courses combine every aspect of Istria: difficult and technical terrain, little bit of coasteering, old medieval towns, deep forests, city centres, muddy wallies, streams and brooks, canyons and many beautiful panoramas.

The course starts in the 3000 years old town Labin, climbs the Učka mountain with the spectacular views to Kvarner region and descends in Buzet where your drop bag will wait for you.

The second largest course start from Buzet and offers you typical istrian inland trails. After 20 km, the BLUE trail merges with RED trail and continues the climb to the highest peaks of Istria.

This trail will show you Central Istria in all its glory! The trail starts in the old town of Buzet and takes the shortest route to Butoniga lake, and it finish in the city of Umag.

This course is great for beginners in trail running. It starts at the bottom of the medieval town of Motovun, climbs up the second medieval town of Grožnjan, and merges with the other courses all the way to the seafront in Umag.
